This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you book a cleaning, hire on as a cleaner, contact us, or interact with our SMS messaging program -- and how we keep that information safe. By using stjohnsclean.com or our services, you agree to the practices described below.

What We Collect

Booking & contact form: When you request a quote, book a cleaning, or send a contact-form message, we collect your name, email address, phone number, service address, ZIP code, and details about your home (square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, pets, etc.).

Cleaner applications: When you apply to clean for us, we collect your name, contact info, work history, references, and the data needed to run a background check and verify insurance.

Payment information: Card details are processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor and are never stored on our servers. We retain only the last 4 digits and a tokenized reference for receipts and refunds.

Site usage: Standard server logs (IP, browser, pages visited, referrer) for security and to improve the site. We do not run third-party advertising trackers and do not sell or share your browsing data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share information with vendors only to the extent needed to deliver our service (payment processor, SMS carrier, background-check provider, hosting).

SMS / Text Messaging

How We Use Your Mobile Number

When you provide your mobile phone number through our booking form, contact form, cleaner application, or during a conversation with our team, you may receive SMS text messages from St. Johns Clean. The St. Johns Clean SMS program is a one-on-one customer-care and account-notification service used for:

Booking confirmations and appointment reminders for homeowners
Cleaner-dispatch notifications, schedule changes, and address details for our cleaning team
Re-clean and satisfaction-guarantee follow-ups
Two-way conversational messages so you can reschedule, ask questions, or update your booking

We do not send promotional, marketing, or bulk advertising text messages.

Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your bookings; most customers receive 2-6 messages per cleaning.
Cost: Standard message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier. St. Johns Clean does not charge for messages.
HELP: Reply HELP at any time to receive support contact info, or call us at (904) 567-9033.
STOP: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. After replying STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
Carriers: Supported carriers include T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Boost, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and others. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No Mobile Data Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All SMS opt-in data, phone numbers, and message content remain confined to St. Johns Clean and our SMS carrier (Telnyx) solely for the purpose of delivering messages you have requested. SMS consent is never sold, rented, or shared.

Our servers are firewalled, regularly patched, and access-restricted. Background-check details and identity documents for cleaners are stored only as long as legally required and then deleted.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You can opt out of email by using the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly.

Children

Children Under 13

Our services are intended for adults 18 and older who can enter into a service contract. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
